95 is currently developing a three-day Systems Thinking Fundamental program delivered via DVD and workbooks. The purpose of the program is to give a group of managers an introduction to the 95 method and studying a demand based system.
This program is available to any US government entity at the Federal, State, City or Local level. The 3-Day program is a test and is being offered at no charge to interested agencies that follow the requirements of the program.
The program is structured like this:
- Day One – classroom based and an introduction to systems thinking and the 95 method
- Day Two – a short briefing and then a day of fieldwork, in the operation
- Day Three – classroom based to consolidate what was learned on day two.
The program is designed to be used with managers with no, or very limited, knowledge of systems thinking and the 95 method. The group can be from the same or different public sector organizations (e.g. neighbouring councils).
The 95 method is being used with success throughout European governments and interested parties can learn more about the method at www.thesystemsthinkingreview.com.
